TEPG specialists come on-site for a free facility evaluation. We identify the Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) that will generate savings by recording relevant building information such as occupant and lighting densities, operating schedules and equipment nameplate data. This often provides clients with insight into cost savings they may not have even realized they have. Again, the Energy RightFit process is all about giving you control of your costs by first giving you control of your choices. Once the magnitude of savings is understood, we typically help organizations develop a simple RFP to be used to solicit proposals.
We call Step One Qualification. You’ll call it comfort. We start by listening. TEPG comes to your facility with years of experience working and listening to school districts. We have no preconceived notions or preset formula designed to sell a certain type of product. Rather, we listen to your story of past energy costs and work with you to establish a systematic evaluation approach to accurately reflect potential savings.
Next, we perform a Free Facility Evaluation. This process identifies the energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) that will generate savings. During this step, we visit your site(s) and record building information such as building construction, occupant and lighting densities, operating schedules and equipment nameplate data. Our Free Facility Evaluation will be a thorough review of opportunities you may have never seen. We like to call it “the gift of new eyes”.
Once you are satisfied that the energy savings potential is sufficient to make a “move forward” decision, we manage the implementation of mechanical and electrical improvements with a (Turn Key Approach). All the implementation details are handled by our expert project management team. We help the district develop a simple Request For Proposals that is advertised on the state web site that gives the opportunity for other Companies to submit proposals on energy savings proposals.
We stay with you to Guarantee the savings we have projected. If during our continuous monitoring and verification process the savings don’t measure up, TEPG will pay the difference between actual and projected results.
